Summary
Kepler’s blueprint of the universe is rightly considered one of the most brilliant illustrations in the history of astronomy. In it, Kepler used the five regular Pythagorean solids to refute the major objections to Copernicanism.
A large wooden model of Kepler’s blueprint is planned to be handcrafted by Ron Mitchell. Once completed, it will be installed in the exhibit hall alongside Kepler’s original work. Thereafter, it will remain on display as an heirloom piece of fine furniture for the History of Science Collections for generations to come.
