Summary
Chaucer’s astronomical knowledge, like Dante’s, was anything but casual; in addition to his stories, this volume also contains his detailed technical manual for use of the astrolabe. Chaucer’s treatise on the astrolabe is one of the titles produced at OU in the Variorum Chaucer series, edited by Prof. Daniel Ransom and published by the University of Oklahoma Press.
